A biological investigation by Corey Washbourne into the health of the ecosystem of Bulimba Creek, Brisbane.

Welcome to the site. Please peruse the navigation panel above to access the other parts of the report.

Bulimba Creek is one of many catchments in the Greater Brisbane Metropolitan area. Starting from Kuraby and Rochedale in the south, the creek winds down past Carindale and Cannon Hill to the east of the CBD. The creek drains into the Brisbane River close to the heavily industrialised Port of Brisbane and the Gateway Bridge. This report is an investigation into the water quality of the creek and offers insight into the effects that human activities have had on the Bulimba Creek ecosystem.
